What is a Water Bike?
The Schiller Bikes water bike is a revolutionary carbon and aluminum water bike. Thanks to its incredible design, it has great buoyancy with very little water resistance. In this way, the water bike is propelled forward by a propeller similar to that of a boat, reaching speeds of up to 10 km / h.
Where does the activity start?
The Water Bike Ibiza experience starts from the TAKEOFF® activity center itself. The address is Calle Valencia, 24 (Sant Josep de Sa Talaia). There the client can leave their belongings at the locker and collect them at the end of the activity. Then, you will travel by van with the monitor to carry out the experience on the beach of Port des Torrent.
How can I go to TAKEOFF®?
TAKEOFF® Ibiza is perfectly communicated with bus line 2 (P. Port des Torrent). If you come by motorcycle or car, you can also find parking nearby.
When do we enter the water?
Before jumping into the water and after equipping himself with the appropriate clothing, the instructor offers the client some tips to get on the water bike: body posture, basic rules, safety techniques and communication codes. After the time of the activity, the client returns to the TAKEOFF® Ibiza center to end the experience.
Can the activity be canceled?
Cancellation of the activity may be made up to 24 hours before it. In the event that the cancellation is due to weather conditions, a new date will be offered or we will proceed to return the entire amount paid.
Are there any essential requirements?
The only requirements are: be 16 years old, know how to swim, have ID or passport and go to the center with a confirmed reservation.
Who can get on a Water Bike?
Our monitors recommend having an average physical condition. However, it is not recommended for people in a wheelchair, pregnant or suffering from back problems.
